We will cross the Cordillera Blanca to visit Chavín de Huántar (1300 to 4000 BC), the oldest and most advanced culture in South America, and one of the six independent civilization centers in world prehistory, preceding the Incas by almost 2000 years. A tour of its pyramids, squares, galleries, temples, highlighting the Lanzón gallery, the walls with heads nestled in stone. Chavín de Huántar has been designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
