Itinerary

Day 01 Visit Huaca Rajada de Sipán - Túcume - Museo Tumbas Reales

Arrival to the city of Chiclayo, “Capital of Friendship”, pick up from the airport or bus terminal and start your fascinating journey.
Today we will visit the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of the most powerful man of ancient Peru, the Lord of Sipán, was discovered. In its museum you can admire fabulous articles of gold and precious stones, belonging to the ancient Moche civilization. We continue towards Túcume, an imposing complex of 26 pyramids of the Lambayeque or Sicán culture. Finally we will visit the Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, considered one of the most spectacular in America, which houses the most important Mochica archaeological remains and shows the ornaments and jewels found in the tomb of the Lord of Sipán.
On a bus trip for about 4 hours, we moved to the city of Eternal Spring, Trujillo.

Day 02 Huaca del Sol and La Luna - Huacas de Moche Museum - Huaca Dragon - Chan Chan - Huanchaco

We begin with a tour to the Moche Valley to visit the Huacas del Sol and the Moon, an impressive archaeological complex that shows the incredible organization of the Mochica Culture, it is complemented with the visit to the Huacas de Moche Museum that shows us a wide information of the culture. Visit to the sensational Arco Iris temple (Huaca Dragon), continuing to Huanchaco, an ancient fishermen’s cove where you will appreciate the old boats called “Caballitos de Totora” with which the ancient tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained. We end with the visit to the largest city of mud in the world Chan Chan, cultural heritage of humanity. Tour of its ceremonial plazas, shrines, reservoirs, among others.

After the impressive tour, transfer to the bus station, where we will embark towards the city of Huaraz.

Day 03 Visit Callejón de Huaylas - Campo Santo de Yungay - Laguna de Llanganuco - Caraz - Taricá

Our adventure today begins through the Callejón de Huaylas, passing and appreciating the picturesque Andean villages and the unique beauty of the Cordilleras Blanca, the imposing Huascarán, and the Cordillera Negra. We will visit the province of Carhuaz where we will enjoy the natural ice cream of fruit and liquor; We continue until we reach Mancos, Yungay. Visiting the Campo Santo de Yungay and Nuevo Yungay. Finally, we arrive at the Huascarán National Park, with its famous Llanganuco Lagoon with turquoise waters; Chinancocha, place where you can take the pleasure of horseback riding or boat, make a short walk around these two lakes contemplating the majesty of the snowy Huascarán, Yanapaccha, Pisco and Huandoy. We will arrive in the city of Caraz, visit the small factories of dairy products and other products of the region.

Day 04 Visit Archaeological Monument of Chavín + Querocha Lagoon + National Museum of Chavín

The tour begins in the Andean towns of Recuay, Ticapampa and Catac; continuing towards the majestic Laguna de Querocha, we will also observe in our journey the map of Peru in natural formation. After passing through tunnels and enjoying beautiful Andean landscapes we will finally arrive at the Archaeological Monument of Chavín; Inside, we will visit the famous “navajo” heads, the “Lanzón de Chavín”, the Altar de Choque Chinchay, galleries, plazas and the National Museum of Chavín. Return to Huaraz.

At the agreed time, you will be transferred to the bus station.
