Mausoleums of Revash and Leymebamba Museum
01 Day
(full day, lunch included)
We moved to the south of Chachapoyas to visit the Mausoleums of Revash, which are tombs in the form of small houses that were apparently built during the Chachapoyas culture, however it is thought that they were also inhabited by the Incas. Then in the town of Leymebamba we will visit the famous Leymebamba Museum where more than 200 mummies that were found in the Laguna de los Cóndores, located 8 hours away on horseback, are preserved. The museum also exhibits the different materials and ornaments that were found in the lagoon.
