Pick up from the hotel to go south of Huaylas Alley by the highway to Pachacoto, stop in the gasified waters of Puma Pampa, the most beautiful exponent of the Andean flora: “La Puya de Raimondi” known for having the largest inflorescence of the world, rock art paintings; arriving at the parking of the glacier we begin the ascent towards Pastoruri (5,000m) 45 minutes (optionally you can rent horses); As a security measure, the entrance to the glacier is not allowed, it is in an accelerated process of deglaciation due to the effects of climate change, which has formed a lagoon on the edge of the glacier where you can see blocks of ice floating.
