Itinerary

Day 01Visit Huaca Rajada of Sipán - Site Museum - Museo de Tumbas Reales de Sipán

We will begin our tour of the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the tomb of the most powerful man of ancient Peru, the Lord of Sipan, was discovered. In its museum of the site the objects found in the tomb of the Guerrero Priest are exhibited, important personage of the Mochica elite; as well as fabulous items of gold and precious stones, belonging to the ancient Moche civilization.
Finally we visit the Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipán Museum, considered one of the most spectacular museums in America, which houses the most important Mochica archaeological remains and shows the ornaments and jewels found in the tomb of the Lord of Sipán. With a design in the shape of a pyramid it is reminiscent of the ancient Moche, it has 3 levels, which show how the funerary structure was shaped in the tomb located in Huaca Rajada.
